The win was UD's sixth straight win, the longest winning streak of the season (UD won five straight in December).
UD is 12-5 overall and 5-1 in the Atlantic 10 West Division. The Flyers have a two-game lead over GW in the A-10 West, and play the Colonials in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.
This was head coach Brian Gregory's 50th game at Dayton, and his 36-14 record at this point is second in Flyer history only to Don Donoher's remarkable 40-10 record after 50 games.
