DAYTON, Ohio – Adam Tschuor has been named the University of Dayton's Director of Ticketing, replacing Gary McCans who is moving into an operations role as the Director of Event Services.

Tschuor arrives to the University of Dayton after spending the last four years at Ball State University. At Ball State, Tschuor served as the director of ticket sales and was responsible for BSU’s corporate ticket and group ticket sales.

Prior to Ball State, Tschuor worked at Harrah’s Entertainment in Council Bluffs, Iowa, as a table games supervisor and casino manager backup. Before moving to Iowa, he was a golf pro shop attendant at Skyline Woods Country Club in Elkhorn, Neb.

A 2010 graduate of Ball State with a Masters in Arts in Sports Administration and a 2005 graduate of Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Tschuor is a native of Muncie and a graduate of Yorktown High School. He was a member of the Creighton golf team for four seasons.

McCans will continue to assist with the arena seating plan and the ticket office with the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Additionally, he will oversee staffing for event hosting, assist in developing and coordinating event staff training, monitor operations' budget and cash management and numerous other responsibilities around event management.
