During the 2012 season, Hunter appeared in nine games and led the team in kick returns (20), kick return yards (425), and all purpose yards (715). Hunter appeared in 10 games for the Flyers in 2011. Hunter led the team in kick returns (31) and kick return yards (666), in 2011. As a freshman, Hunter served as the Flyers’ main kick returner during the 2010 season. Hunter led the team in kick returns (28), kick return yards (762), average kick return yards (28.2) and scored the only special teams touchdown of the season with his 82 yard kick return against Valparaiso. In nine games for the Flyers, Hunter averaged 84.7 kick return yards per game. Hunter received the ROTC Cannonball Award, which goes to the team’s top newcomer.
Personal:
In high school, Hunter was a three-sport letterwinner – football, basketball and lacrosse. He was a team captain, MVP, and first team all-conference in football. Hunter was also All-CHSL in basketball and in track. He is a Mechanical Engineering major.
