Purpus played in four tournaments with 10 rounds of action...ranked third on the team in stroke average at 76.0...opened the year at the Marshall Invitational with scores of 77-74-76 to tie for 67th...tied for 72nd at the UD Fall Invitational with rounds of 78-81...tied for 33rd at the Detroit Golf Club Invitational with a 79-72...closed the season by tying for 34th at the Atlantic 10 Championship with scores of 74-72-77.

2011-12
Purpus appeared in two tournaments and played five rounds…finished with a 79.6 stroke average…began his Flyer career at the UD Fall Invitational with rounds of 82 and 79 to tie for 65th…tied for 69th at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational with scores of 80-77-80.

High School
A First Team, All-State selection, Purpus comes to UD from Minster, Ohio. He was the Player of the Year in the Midwest Athletic Conference as he led Minster High School to a conference title as the team’s top player his senior season.
