The Flyers closed out their spring training session with an unbeaten record after registering ties against Kentucky and Marshall at the Wildcats’ Invitational on Saturday, April 17.
Dayton put up a 2-2 tie against Kentucky and tied The Thundering Herd 1-1.
"It was a great day to end our spring. I thought we played good soccer on the weekend and competed well in both games. Most of our returners have not played in any games until this spring so it was good learning experience for them,” said UD Head Coach Dennis Currier. “A few mental let downs prevented us from winning both games which we need to improve on. It also gave the coaching staff an opportunity to form some opinions on who will factor in next season and which ones will need further development."
