SUPPORT UD ATHLETICS THROUGH THE CHAMPIONS & SCHOLARS FUND

Gifts to the Champions & Scholars Fund immediately support athletic scholarships, operational expenses and facility enhancements.

Last year, over 2,900 members nationwide helped contribute to the academic and athletic success of University of Dayton student-athletes. This year, the goal is to increase Champions & Scholars Fund membership to over 3,000.

"Investing in our student-athletes continues to pay dividends both in the classroom and on the field of competition," said Brian Tracy, Director of Athletic Development. "UD student-athletes maintain a graduation rate of 94 percent and achieved four conference championships during the 2011-12 season. I can only imagine the improvement in academic and athletic opportunities we could create with over 3,000 Champions & Scholars Fund members."

Active membership in the Champions & Scholars Fund begins with a minimum donation of $100 to UD athletics. UD undergraduate degree recipients within five years of graduation are eligible for the $50 young alumni level.

Gifts to the Champions & Scholars Fund immediately support athletic scholarships, operational expenses and facility enhancements. Make your gift by Dec. 31 to meet the 2012 tax deduction deadline.

For questions regarding the Champions & Scholars Fund or supporting UD athletics, please visit our website at DaytonFlyers.com/championsandscholars, email championsandscholars@udayton.edu or call (937) 229-2845.

The Champions & Scholars Fund was created to appropriately recognize those who support UD athletics. Membership levels are based on gifts made to athletic funds during the course of the fiscal year: July 1 to June 30.
