DAYTON, OH. - The University of Dayton men’s tennis team had a busy weekend as they traveled to Butler and Detroit. The Flyers were downed by both the Bulldogs and the Titans but saw three individual wins from Aidan Koross two at the singles spot and one with doubles partner Robert Salcedo. Individual wins also came from Andrew Hanley at No. 2 singles spot as well as from doubles partners Josh Malyon and Kyle MacDonald.
BUTLER 5, DAYTON 2
In singles at the No. 1 spot Aidan Koross pulled through with the victory against Butlers Austin Woldmoe (6-4, 3-6, 6-2). At the No.3 spot Josh Malyon took the early lead 6-4 against Tommy Marx but trailed 7-6, 6-4 in the final two sets

In doubles action the Flyers grabbed the point with wins in both the No.1 & 2 positions. Aidan Koross and Robert Salcedo held tight to their 9-8 win followed by Josh Malyon and Kyle MacDonald at the 2 spot with an 8-6 win.

Against Detroit, Aidan Koross pulled through again for his team grabbing the No.1 spot victory in singles pay with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Alex Latosinsky. Andrew Hanley followed close behind Koross as he stole another point for the Titans earning himself a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Mike Basha.
