MEN'S TENNIS WEEKEND REVIEW

DAYTON, OH. – The University of Dayton men’s tennis team faced a very tough Toledo Rockets team this weekend. The Flyers were defeated 7-0 as they updated their overall record to 2-11 as the Rockets improved their overall record to 16-6.
 
UD earned a victory from doubles duo Kyle MacDonald and Josh Malyon. These men were unable to earn the point for their team as Dayton saw loses in both the No.1 and 3 doubles spots. MacDonald and Malyon defeated Grant Adams and Francisco Stuardo 8-2 in their match up at the No.2 spot. 
 
In singles both Kyle MacDonald and Josh Malyon put up a fight earning the first set win and then closely trailing in the second and third sets.

The Flyers are back in action on March 22 and 23 as they head out to Pittsburg to face conference match ups against Duquesne and Saint Josephs. All matches will be played at Duquesne University. Saturday’s game time against The Dukes is scheduled for 1:30p.m. and Sunday’s first serve verses the Hawks is set for 12:00p.m.
