It is the first time since 2004 that a UD volleyball player has been voted Academic All-District IV. Nicole Wright of Duquesne is the only other Atlantic 10 volleyball student-athlete on any 2010 All-District Team.

District IV is comprised of all colleges and universities in the states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama.

No. 17 Dayton (20-3, 11-0 A-10) has a chance to clinch its sixth Atlantic 10 Regular Season title in seven years while hosting La Salle at the Frericks Center this Friday at 7 p.m. ET. On Sunday the Flyers travel to Charlotte, N.C., to face Charlotte at 1 p.m.
