DAYTON, Ohio – Head Coach Jim Jabir and the University of Dayton women’s basketball staff finalized the non-conference portion of the Flyers’ 2012-13 schedule. UD will face 11 teams that advanced to either the NCAA, WNIT or WBI postseason tournaments and 10 teams that had 20 wins or more last season. The Flyers will also play in three in-season tournaments – Maggie Dixon Classic (Nov. 9-10) hosted by DePaul, Dayton Marriott Classic (Nov. 23-24) and the ASU Classic (Dec. 1-2) hosted by Arizona State.
Dayton plays Division II Ashland in an exhibition game on Nov. 3 at UD Arena. The Eagles, led by former UD reserve Kari Daugherty, were the 2012 NCAA D-II National Championship runners-up.
The Flyers will start off the regular season at the Maggie Dixon Classic in Chicago Nov. 9-10. The other teams in the field include host DePaul, Nicholls State and Mississippi Valley State.
Dayton will take on Toledo (Nov. 14) and Vanderbilt (Nov. 18) at UD Arena and then the Flyers will host the Dayton Marriott Classic Nov. 23-24 which will feature Buffalo and Eastern Illinois. UD will also host Michigan State on Dec. 8.
The Flyers play at Wright State (Nov. 28) and then travel to Tempe, Ariz. to compete in the ASU Classic (Dec. 1-2) which also includes Arizona State, Binghamton and UNLV.
The rest of the road non-conference schedule includes Akron (Dec. 18), Siena (Dec. 22) and Bowling Green (Dec. 30).
2012-13 Dayton women’s basketball season tickets are now available for purchase. A Super Saver package is available for $30, which covers general admission for all home regular season games (including conference games). The Ultimate Fan Pack is $60 and includes general admission to all regular season home games, a $25 voucher for concessions and a $15 voucher for apparel for Korporate Kasuals.

Dayton finished the 2011-12 season with a 23-7 record, a school-record 12 conference wins, the program's first Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship and the third consecutive NCAA appearance.
