RED & BLUE GAME SET FOR SATURDAY AT UD ARENA

DAYTON, Ohio - Flyer fans will get their first look at the men's and women's basketball teams on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Red & Blue Game from UD Arena.

Admission is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9 a.m. ET and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive complimentary donuts and milk.

In addition, UD will give away 2,000 Dayton Flyers flags, free ticket vouchers to football and Mejier water bottles to those attending the scrimmages.

Red & Blue Game Timeline

  • 9 a.m. ET - Doors Open
  • 9:40 a.m. ET - Women's Basketball Red & Blue Game Begins
  • 10:30 a.m. ET - Men's & Women's Basketball Autograph Session Begins
  • 11:25 a.m. ET - Men's Basketball Red & Blue Game Begins

    For more information call the UD Ticket Office at (937) 229-4433. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.

    Earlier this week the University of Dayton released tentative game times and a television schedule that will include at least 12 men's basketball broadcasts. All times and broadcasts are subject to change and can be found on the men's basketball schedule page at www.DaytonFlyers.com.

    Senior guard Brian Roberts was named First Team All-Atlantic 10, while freshman forward Chris Wright was chosen for the All-Rookie Team. The Flyers were also picked to finish sixth in the league according to a poll of the Atlantic 10's head coaches and media.

    On the women's side, the Atlantic 10 announced on Thursday the Flyers were picked to finish eighth this season in the 14-team conference. UD finished ninth in the A-10 last season after a 6-8 record in league play and a 12-19 mark overall. Dayton advanced to the Quarterfinals of the A-10 Championship for the second year in a row.
