In their final tournament of the 2011-12 campaign, the Dayton Flyers will compete in the Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship.

The event will take place from April 20-22 at the Reserve Club at the St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C. Live Scoring will be available through CAAsports.com and GolfStat.com once the event has started.

On Friday and Saturday, the 18 hole round will begin at 9 a.m. ET. The final round on Sunday will commence at 8 a.m. ET.

This will be the 10th season the Flyers have participated in the CAA Championship. UD's best showing came back in the spring of 2004 when Dayton placed fifth overall.

Other programs participating in the 2012 CAA Tournament include Georgia State, Hofstra, James Madison, UNC Wilmington, Old Dominion, Richmond, Towson, William & Mary and Xavier.

Last season at the CAA Championship the Flyers placed in ninth.

Fast forward to this year where Dayton will feature a lineup of Grace Nikolai, Kelly Coakley, Lucy Frey, Maggie Prokop and Kelly Muskat. Through eight rounds this spring season, the Flyers have a 337.13 team stroke average.

The Nicklaus Design Reserve Club course, which opened in July 2006, measures 4,925 yards from the forward tees and has a course rating of 75.2 and slope of 140 from the tips.
