The women's tennis team concluded day two at the Cincinnati Invitational on Saturday from Queen City Racquet & Fitness Club. Dayton sophomore Kelly O'Connell had a productive day, as she recorded a singles win in Flight C and a doubles victory in Flight A to lead the Flyers.
O'Connell's singles win came over Rachel Surowiec of Ball State in a 6-1, 6-1 decision. In doubles, she paired with Nikki Dzubay to top Kennesaw State's Carney and Swindall 8-4.
The Cincinnati Invitational was the second of two fall tournaments for the Flyers. Dayton is off next weekend, and hosts the Flyer Invitational on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18.
