WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD COMPLETES WEEKEND AT McCRAVY MEMORIAL

Results

Lexington, KY - Connie Fleming achieved her season best in the weight throw on Friday throwing three feet further then her previous best at 42-11.50. Fleming also participated in the shot put.

Megan Sweeney, along with Stacia Harold and Kylene Guerra ran their season bests in the 200 meter run with times of 27.52, 26.63 and 28.02 consecutively.

In the 400 meter dash season bests were set by Liz Forster (59.88), Stacy Chew (1:00.20), India Moss (1:01.28), and Lisa Aubry (1:01.38).

Ellen Nienhaus ran the mile three seconds faster then her personal record with a time of 5:25.73. Kate Mone also ran her personal best in the mile run with a time of 5:51.34, cutting four seconds off her time from the Ball State meet.

Five season bests were achieved in the 3000 meter run on Saturday. Anne Oltman ran it in 10:40.78 finishing 13 and cutting 14 seconds off her time. Dianne Striebel cut 20 seconds off her previous season bet running it in 10:47.78. Sydney Hubbard (10:57.76), Elizabeth Tucker (11:17.05) and Amanda Tucker (11:30.57) also ran their season bests in the 3000 meter run.

Kelly Pohlman placed third in both the weight throw on Friday night with a distance of 55-10.25 and the shot put on Saturday, 44-08.25.

In the high jump, Megan Sweeney placed seventh with a height of 5-02.25

Also placing seventh was the Flyers 4x400 meter relay team with a time of 4:04.34.

Tara Hentgen and Stacia Harold took 13 and 14 places in the long jump with distances of 15-07.00 and 15-02.00. Hentgen also participated in the triple jump on Friday night with a distance of 34-07.00.
