Las Vegas, NV - On Saturday April 1, the Flyers will be competing in the UNLV Invitational at Las Vegas, NV.
Last week, senior Kelly Pohlman qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regionals with a shot put heave of 48'1.75" at the Shamrock Invitational at Coastal Carolina University. This won her second place in the event and a career best at the meet. She also participated in the hammer throw, throwing her career best with a distance of 155'8", and in the discus throwing a 135'11".
Anne Oltman broke a UD school record and came in seventh place in the steeplechase with a time of 11:52.32. Bridget Kuhel also competed in this event and earned a career best and 11th place with a time of 12:33. 64.
Tara Hentgen (triple jump), Stacia Harold (200m and long jump), Megan Sweeney (high jump), and Emily Haas (5000m) each beat records in their events.
The next meet for the Flyers will be the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships in Columbus, OH, on April 7 and 8.
