The win is the fifth straight in the series by the Flyers over their rivals from nearby Fairborn. <P>UD (13-5) won for the sixth time in its last seven matches behind a 21-kill effort from <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/barhorst_faye00.html" >Faye Barhorst</a>. The senior middle blocker hit .432 on the night to lead a group of four Flyers with double-figures in kills. <P>Sophomore <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/akerhielm_bethany00.html" >Bethany Akerhielm</a> recorded her first collegiate double-double with 12 kills and 14 digs while juniors <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/richards_jamielee00.html" >Jamie-Lee Richards</a> and <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/green_robynne00.html" >Robynne Green</a> posted 19 and 16 kills respectively for Dayton. <P>Redshirt sophomore <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/schroeder_erin00.html" >Erin Schroeder</a> dished out a career-high 71 assists to go along with 12 digs as UD out hit WSU by a .196 to .164 margin. <P>The Flyer back row cleaned up for a defense that accumulated just 6.0 blocks to the visitor's 18.0. Junior libero <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/green_adrienne00.html" >Adrienne Green</a> led the way for Dayton with 25 digs followed by Akerhielm's 14. <P>Freshman <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/christoff_chelsy00.html" >Chelsy Christoff</a> finished with a season-high 13 digs while sophomore <A HREF="http://www.fansonly.com/schools/dayt/sports/w-volley/mtt/robbe_mandy00.html" >Mandy Robbe</a> added 12 digs for a Flyer defense that held the Raiders to an .000 team hitting percentage in the fifth and deciding game. <P>Wright State (8-10) was led by a 17-kill, 12-dig night by Alisha Kimbro and 32 digs from Sarah Poling in its upset bid.
