A-10 Volleyball

The No. 14 ranked Dayton Flyer volleyball team returns home to host a pair of Atlantic 10 Conference matches this weekend at Frericks Center with special promotions planned each day. UD takes on George Washington on Friday with a special start time of 6 p.m. ET. Dayton then faces Charlotte on "Think Pink" Saturday at 5 p.m. ET.

On Friday, The Flyers (19-0, 6-0 A-10) look to break the program record for consecutive victories as it puts its 19-match winning streak on the line against the Colonials. UD has the best record in the nation this season and is one of just five remaining unbeaten teams in NCAA Division I. <P>Prior to the game on Friday, all members of the Future Flyer Kids Club will be having a pizza party. They are encouraged to wear their FFKC t-shirts and members will be recognized during the game. Members are also eligible to be involved with in-game promotions. Dayton will then take on Charlotte Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. The match will by Dayton's "Think Pink" match to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This will mark the third straight year that UD will join the other nine volleyball members of the Atlantic 10 Conference as well as other volleyball programs around the nation to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The Flyers have collected over $6,600 for the cause over the past two years including $3,702.50 last year. Donations can be made to a marketing representative at the door.

In addition all local church, YMCA, and Girl Scout groups as well as all 2007 campers will be recognized during the game and eligible for in-game promotions. Finally, all fans who present a UD football ticket from the Flyers game vs. Davidson will receive FREE admission to the volleyball match on Saturday evening.
