DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's volleyball team will hold a watch party in Kettering at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Stroop Road, starting at 2:45 p.m. ET. Friends, family, alumni and the public are invited to watch the 2009 NCAA Selection Show with the team and celebrate the season.
For those viewing out of town, the selection show will be aired at 3:00 p.m. ET on ESPNews. Last Sunday, the Flyers earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Championship after triumphing for a second time over then-No. 20 Saint Louis to capture the Atlantic 10 Championship.
Junior outside hitter Amanda Cowdrey was named Most Outstanding Player by the conference while helping guide the Flyers to their fifth A-10 championship in the last seven years. A-10 Co-Player of the Year and All-American middle blocker Lindsay Fletemier was named to the All-Tournament team.
Dayton will face Mid-American Conference champion Ohio on Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Frericks Center. Admission to Friday's contest is free of charge and live Gametracker will be available at www.DaytonFlyers.com.
