EXHBITION OPENER ON SATURDAY
In preparation for the start of the 2013-14 season, the University of Dayton Flyers host the Ryerson Rams in exhibition action on Saturday from Tom Blackburn Court beginning at 2 p.m. ET. The game will be carried by WHIO Radio and available with live streaming video, stats and streaming audio at www.DaytonFlyers.com.
ABOUT RYERSON
Ryerson University is located in Toronto, and is one of Canada's largest universities with an enrollment of more than 28,000. Ryerson is coming off a strong 2012-13 campaign that saw them rack up a 15-5 regular season record in OUA play. The Rams also entered the national rankings for the first time since the 2000-01 season and peaked at the No. 6 position. The Rams return the core of their lineup this season, including three-time all-star Jahmal Jones, all-star Aaron Best, along with Jordon Gauthier and Bjorn Michaelsen.

Devin Oliver and
Vee Sanford have been elected captains in a vote of the players. Oliver led the Flyers in rebounding last season with a 7.8 average. Sanford is the team's leading returning scorer at 12.3 per game.
RED & BLUE RECAP
In the annual Red & Blue intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 19, the Red Team prevailed over the Blue Team 49-37.
Vee Sanford and
Devon Scott led all scorers with 14 points each. Sanford shot 6-of-11 from the field, while Scott went 6-of-7 from the floor and pulled down seven rebounds.
