Jenna Burdette, a 5-foot-8 guard from Coolville, Ohio, signed her National Letter of Intent to play for the nationally-ranked University of Dayton women's basketball team next season.

"Jenna is a complete point guard who is equally adept at scoring as she is passing the ball," said UD Head Coach Jim Jabir. "She has a great sense of her teammates around her and what is going on in the game.  She is a welcome addition to our young team and will make an impact."

Burdette is ranked 18^th at her position by ESPN HoopGurlz and she is a JumpOffPlus.com National Report ELITE 60 prospect.

She is a three-time Associated Press Division IV Southeastern District Player of the Year. She led Eastern to its first-ever trip to the state tournament in girls basketball last season. She was a selection on the D-IV All-State all-tournament team last year.
 
Burdette is a three-time D-IV All-Ohio first team selection. She has been named the Tri-Valley Conference Hocking Division Player of the Year twice, as well as Co-Player of the Year her sophomore year.
 
She has averaged double-figure scoring each year of her high school career: 16.4 ppg as a freshman, 15.0 ppg as a sophomore and 18.1 ppg as a junior.

She has led Eastern to a 63-14 overall record in three seasons: 22-3, 18-6 and 23-5, respectively, and each qualified for the Sweet 16.
 
Burdette carries a 3.9 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society.
 
She plays AAU ball for West Virginia Thunder


She is also a multi-time state qualifier in track and field and lettered in golf as a freshman.
