Andrea Hoover was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Jan. 19. George Washington's Jonquel Jones shares the honor with Hoover while Jones' teammate Kelli Prange was tabbed as the Rookie of the Week for games played Jan. 12-18.
Hoover earns her second Player of the Week award of the year after she led Dayton to an 86-70 win at St. Bonaventure on Sunday, the team's only game of the week. She scored a game-high 25 points, 21 in the first half, on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor and was a perfect 9-for-9 from the line. Hoover grabbed eight rebounds, dished out four assists and tallied a career-high-tying four steals.
The Flyers return home to play host to the Rhode Island Rams on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at UD Arena and the game will be available online via a free live web stream at Atlantic10.com.
