NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has released the 2015-16 women's basketball league pairings and Dayton's schedule will feature home-and-home series with Duquesne, George Washington and Saint Louis. The 16-game slate includes four A-10 teams that made post-season appearances in 2014-15, including George Washington which joined Dayton in the NCAA Tournament. The A-10 will announce a full schedule with dates later this summer.
Dayton will face A-10 Champion George Washington twice during regular-season conference action. The Colonials earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament, falling in the First Round to 10th-seeded Gonzaga. Duquesne, Fordham and Richmond all earned spots in the WNIT with the Dukes advancing to the third round of play.
UD's home schedule will includes match-ups with Davidson, Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis and VCU. The away calendar sends Dayton to Duquesne, George Washington, La Salle, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Richmond, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis.
The Flyers posted a 28-7 overall record in 2014-15, tying the 2012-13 season for most wins in UD's modern DI era. Dayton advanced to the program's first Regional Final, falling to eventual national champion Connecticut after giving the Huskies a run for their money. UD's 2015-16 roster features three seniors in A-10 Sixth Woman of the Year

Remaining elements of UD's schedule (non-conference opponents, all playing dates and all game times) will be announced as they become available.
The 2016 Atlantic 10 Woen's Basketball Championship will be played March 2-6 at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia.
