Box Score KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Dayton baseball team led for the first time in the series, but host Rhode Island won it in extra innings Saturday.
The Flyers (16-31, 5-12 A-10) fall further down the A-10 standings while the Rams (23-20, 12-5 A-10) have a strong-hold on first place.
SCORING BREAKDOWN
- Bottom of 1st – Rhode Island scored first on a defensive miscue by Dayton, resulting in the opening run of the game. An RBI groundout then doubled the lead. Dayton 0, URI 2
