COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Dayton announced that Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, the cable television home of the University of Dayton Flyers, will air select football, volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer events this fall.
 
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise five Flyer football games, three volleyball matches, three women's soccer matches as well as two men's soccer games.
 
All season long, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will have live coverage of Flyers athletics. This marks the 11th year of televised Dayton Flyers games on Time Warner Cable.
 
"We are incredibly appreciative of the relationship we have with Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and the Atlantic 10," said UD Assistant Athletic Director Michael LaPlaca. "It's exciting to have this television exposure for our programs. It's tremendous for recruiting and for the University of Dayton that gives us unprecedented exposure that cannot be matched in the region."
 
One unique aspect of the partnership is Dayton's video production department, Flyer Athletics Network (FAN), will produce select volleyball and soccer matches for Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. The events will be produced directly out of the Flyer Athletic Network's mobile production truck in high definition. FAN will assist in production efforts using a combination of full-time staff members, freelancers and students to serve as the crew.
 
The Time Warner Cable SportsChannels are 24/7 networks that carry distinct, comprehensive local sports programming on different channels across the nation. In Ohio, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is led by Columbus Crew SC, the Dayton Flyers, Mid-American Conference and high school games and programming. It can be found in HD on Time Warner Cable channel 311 across the state, as well as on channel 510 in the formerly Insight portions of the Columbus area and 511HD/510 in the formerly Insight portions of the Cincinnati metropolitan area in northern Kentucky.
