PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The University of Dayton will play in the Bahamas for the first time in school history when the Flyers play in the 2018 Battle 4 Atlantis exempt basketball tournament.
The tournament field, which was announced today, also includes Butler, Florida, Middle Tennessee State, Oklahoma, Stanford, Virginia and Wisconsin.
The tournament is a three-games-in-three-days event held over the Thanksgiving holiday at the Atlantis Resort.
The Battle 4 Atlantis will be the 10th consecutive in-season exempt tournament Dayton men's basketball will participate in.
This season, more than 1,000 members of the Flyer Faithful followed Coach
Anthony Grant's team to Charleston, S.C. for the Charleston Classic.
Dayton is back home Saturday night, hosting Akron at 7 p.m. ET.
