Jim Jabir, the UD women's basketball staff and team will host five camps this June

DAYTON, Ohio – Spots are still available for the 2010 Jim Jabir Basketball Camps. Don’t miss out on your chance to work with the 2010 Flyers who advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.

The camps will feature instruction from the Kay Yow Coach of the Year finalist, UD head coach Jim Jabir, along with Dayton's assistant coaches:  Kyle Rechlicz (who will attend the prestigious NCAA Womens Coaches Academy this June 6-10), Lesley Dickinson and Angie Russell. Current UD players, who earned a program-best five Atlantic 10 postseason honors in 2010, will also be present to interact and train with campers.

The staff will hold five different camps throughout the summer including team shootouts for both junior varsity and varsity teams. These tournaments offer guaranteed games in the recreation center on UD's campus as well as UD Arena. This year UD is offering both the one-day shootout and overnight shootout with an option for teams to stay on campus in residence halls.

Other options include the Day Camp (grades 3-12) and the Day In The Life Camp. Day Camp will focus on individual skill development, fundamental reinforcement and exciting games. The Day In The Life Camp will give aspiring Division I basketball players a sense of how a DI program works.

The Flyers also have a brand new camp option this summer: the Parent/Daughter camp on June 25 which is available to kids of all ages.

Day Camp – June 14-17
Parent/Daughter Camp – June 25
Team Shootout #2 – June 26-27
