2013: Started all 21 games this season... Recorded a career high for assists in a season with 16, which was second most on the team and third in the nation, and added seven goals for a total of 30 points... Ranked third in the Atlantic 10 in shots and shots per game, with 85 and 4.05, respectively… Third in points and points per game (30 and 1.43)… Eighth in goals with seven… Second in assists and assists per game (16 and .76)… Tied a career single-game high with three assists at Rhode Island (10/13), and had two other games with multiple assists…Earned Preseason Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team honors, was a Top 30 selection for the 2013 Senior CLASS Award, was named Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and was named to the conference’s First Team and All-Academic Team... Also earned First Team Academic All-Ohio along with Athletic All-Ohio honors, was named to the Second Team of the Capital One Academic All-District Team... Received First Team recognition from the NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region as well as Second Team NSCAA Scholar All-American honors... Finished her career with 6,592 minutes played, 87 games played, 31 goals, 43 assists (2nd all-time at Dayton), 105 points (4th all-time) and 11 game-winning goals... Also became just the 2nd player in UD history to tally at least 30 goals and 30 assists (the other is two-time All-American and current WUSA player Colleen Williams)... Played for the Dayton Dutch Lions of the USL W-League in the summer of 2013.
2012: Libertin played in all 20 games this season... Had a career high of 12 goals, 11 assists and 35 points...Averaged 3.45 shots per game and ended the season with 69 shots...Libertin earned First Team NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region, First Team Capital One Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team, First Team All-Atlantic 10, and First Team Academic All-Ohio... Ranked 12th in the nation for assists ...Named Second Team Capital One Academic All-American Division I Women’s Soccer and Second Team NSCAA Scholar All-America Team...Was All-Atlantic 10 All-Academic and All-Ohio...She was the Atlantic 10 Fall Sports Honor Roll Player of the Week during two consecutive weeks (Aug. 20 and Aug. 27)... Earned 2012 TopDrawer Soccer National Team of the Week, 2012 College Sports Madness National Player of the Week, and College Sports Madness Conference Player of the Week Aug. 27.
2011: Played in all 23 games…Tripled her 2010 career high for shots with 63 this season… Scored her first goal in the 3-1 win over Cal Poly, second goal in 3-0 win against Loyola Chicago, third goal in 2-1 win against Northwestern… Tallied two assists in the first game against Middle Tennessee State a 7-2 win … Finished the season with 10 goals and 10 assists… Named to the All-Academic Team in the Atlantic 10 and First Team Academic All-Ohio … She was named to the Third Team Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team and the All-Ohio Team... Member of the 2011 All-Championship Team in A-10 … Member of the All-Tournament Team for the 2011 Boilermaker Challenge Cup Champions… Libertin was named Player of the Week for the Atlantic 10 Fall Sports Honor Roll on Oct. 24.
2010: One of two freshmen to play in all 23 games for the Flyers...led all rookies with 22 starts...accumulated 1,510 minutes played over the season and was very successful during this time....finished the year with 10 points off of two goals and six assists...her first collegiate goal came on Oct. 10 against UMass in a 5-0 victory...the second came in the very next game at Temple five days later...first career collegiate assist came in the season opener against Butler...was named to the 2010 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Rookie Team and at season’s end was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team.
Coach Tucker's Take on Juliana: A gifted athlete and a creative soccer player, Jules has the pace to get behind defenses and the ability to break them down with the dribble. Although capable of making an impact anywhere on the field, we expect her to contribute in the attack initially. As a high school junior she was both NSCAA soccer All-American and a state champion in track in the mile run!
Prior to UD: Was named an NSCAA High School All-American in 2008...a three-time First Team All-State and All-Region player (2007, 2008 & 2009)... led Archbishop Hoban High School to the State Final Four in 2006, 2007 & 2008, when the team made the finals...named Hoban’s MVP, the Beacon Journal Player of the Year, Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star Player and Summit County Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons (2007-2009)...earned the Dapper Dan Award in 2007 and 2009...was a North Coast First Team selection and 2008 North Coast League Player of the Year...she scored 103 goals in her high school career...led Cleveland Internationals to the State Cup Championship in 2008 and 2009...Cleveland Internationals advanced to the 2009 US Youth National Tournament and were Super Y League National Champions in 2005, 2007, 2009...named MVP of the Super Y league in 2007...named to the Select Tournament Team in 2007 and 2009... played for the OYSAN State Team from 2004-2008 and the USL ODP National Team in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Personal: Daughter of Colette Libertin...has two younger siblings, Maria and Chris, and an older brother, Nick...Grandfather Steve Sitko played football and basketball at Notre Dame...Born May 10, 1991...Major: Exercise Science.
