Head Coach Brian Gregory Quotes
"There are no surprises in terms of reasons why we were unable to be successful day. Our initial defense both in transition and half-court was pretty good but it was the offensive glass that killed us. We didn't do a good job of blocking out and getting the ball. I'm also disappointed in our concentration on the free-throw line."

"They (UMass) started well today, getting the ball inside. We answered a couple of good looks early; we just didn't maybe finish those. It's a 40 minute game; you have to be able to play for 40 minutes. I thought maybe once we settled down we would play well and we did in the first half."

"I think obviously you saw veteran team (UMass) out there today. They've (UMass) had some disappointing loses where their focus and concentration has been lacking, today you didn't see that team. The thing they have is depth."

"I think we faced some pretty good teams, but if you look at players in the Atlantic 10 (Rashaun) Freeman is having a player of the year type year so is (Stephane) Lasme. They have experience and size. They know exactly what they have to get done and do an unbelievable job rebounding their own misses."

"Charles (Little) played well. He took 18 shots and made 10 of them, probably the most he made in his career. He is shooting the ball much better and he's worked really hard on that. He's a sophomore; it's a process he's going to have to go through. He's a different player from last year, greatly has greatly improved."

"Brian (Roberts) did a good job of staying patient, cutting hard and being aggressive."

"I think 14 straight games at home is unbelievable. Now we need to move on. We have a road game on Wednesday. We are playing another talented team on Wednesday night."

Charles Little
"They have two of the best post players in the conference. We had to go battle them and we didn't battle them. We didn't match their intensity. It killed us on the glass."

"We just had to keep them off the glass. Coach told us to keep them off the glass, but we didn't match their intensity. They came at us and we kind of backed down."

"I think most of (Stephane Lasme's) blocks come from people trying to shy away from him. So I wanted to go at him."

"We were taking good shots early, they just weren't falling for us. We kept shooting them and they weren't falling."

"It's a little disheartening, but we have another game on Wednesday."

Brian Roberts
"When you give up 20 offensive rebounds to a team, it's tough to win, no matter where you are playing. Also, free throws hurt us. We were 7-for-18. We just weren't able to get it done today."

"When we got down early, we didn't want to panic. That was the key thing not to panic and settle down. We wanted to take good shots and keep defending on defense, we just couldn't put it up."

"We know every game we have left we are playing good teams. There's a lot of teams in the hunt for first place. Nothing will be easy from here on out. We let one slip today, now we have to get ready for Saint Louis."
