Warren Williams tied his career-high with 17 points.

Warren Williams has reached doule figures in scoring four times this season - all at home. He scored 10 each against Northwestern State and Akron, 17 versus Richmond and 17 against Saint Joseph's.

The Flyers did not attempt their first free throw until the 14:42 mark of the second half. SJU went 5-for-5 from the charity stripe during the first 25:18 of the game.

The largest lead of the game was Saint Joseph's by eight at 36-28.

Dayton's largest lead was five (twice, 7-2 and 54-49).

UD Head Coach Brian Gregory's wife Yvette gave birth to the couple's second child this afternoon. Elyse Brianna was born at 3:15 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital and both mother and daughter are healthy.

UD President Dr. Daniel Curran, a Philadelphia native, earned a bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University in 1973.

The Hawks had won 21 straight Atlantic 10 regular season games dating back to 2002-03, which was the third longest winning streak in conference history.

In fact, Saint Joseph's last two losses to A-10 opponents occurred at UD Arena. SJU suffered its first loss of the 2004-05 season on March 11 to Xavier, 87-67 in the A-10 Quarterfinals.

The Hawks wore black uniforms for just the second time all season and fell to 0-2 when wearing black.

SJU had 9 blocks overall for the second time this season. Its season-high is 10 set on Dec. 7, 2004 during a 59-51 win over Fairfield. Dwayne Jones matched his career-best with six blocks (also set on 12/7/04).
