After being held scoreless in the first half, Dillard came alive hitting four field goals and all six free throw attempts. Dayton sealed the game with a minute remaining in regulation after a Parker three-pointer as the shot clock time expired.

Parker finished the game 4-of-7 from the field with three of those three-pointers. Kavanaugh was also strong inside hitting 6-of-9 field goal attempts.

Paul Williams added nine points and Alex Gavrilovic had six points and six rebounds.

It is the first true road victory for the Flyers this season as well after losing at Miami and Murray State. UD went 3-0 in the Old Spice Classic down in Orlando, Fla.
