WASHINGTON, D.C. - University of Dayton volleyball senior Shayne Brown was named to the 2013 Atlantic 10 Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team as announced by the league following the title match on Sunday. This is the first Championship All-Tournament Team honor for the senior from Lakewood, Colo., and the 13th consecutive all-tourney team recognition for the Flyers.

Brown averaged 2.50 kills/set and 1.62 digs/set while hitting at a .390 clip (20-4-41) for the Flyers' two-match run in the tournament. Fifth-seeded Dayton defeated No. 4 Saint Louis, 3-1, in the quarterfinals but fell 3-1 to eventual champion and top-seeded Duquesne in the semifinal match. In the loss to the Dukes, Brown recorded 13 kills, four digs, two blocks and a service ace while committing only two attack errors in 25 attempts for a .440 hitting percentage.
