DAYTON TENNIS SIGNS TWO FOR 2015-16 SEASON

DAYTON, Ohio (Nov. 19, 2014) – University of Dayton men's and women's head tennis coach Ryan Meyer has announced the addition of two future Flyers to UD's tennis programs. Jordan Benjamin and Mattea Kilstofte have signed National Letters of Intent and are excited to join the teams in the fall of 2015.

"I am thrilled to add both Mattea and Jordan to our tennis programs," said Coach Meyer. "One thing that really set these two apart from other recruits was their commitment to academics as well as their leadership qualities."

Benjamin will come to UD from Rochester, N.Y. where he currently attends The Harley School. He is a 5-star recruit and is currently ranked 29th in the country on tennisrecruiting.net. He holds and overall record of 53-20. Benjamin plans to study engineering when he arrives at UD in fall 2015.

Kilstofte currently resides in Santa Barbara, Calif. where she attends Santa Barbara High School. She is a 4-star recruit whose career high ranking is 125 in the country on tennisrecruiting.net. She currently holds an overall record of 27-17. Upon her arrival at UD in fall 2015, Kilstofte plans to study entrepreneurship and sales.

Coach Meyer is confident that these two players will be great additions to the Flyer rosters.

"Both have competed against the best in USTA junior tennis and I see both of them contributing to our program right away as freshman.  I look forward to helping these two achieve both their tennis and academic goals starting this fall."
