INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Dayton (26-5) will play Villanova (25-8) in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Volleyball Championship this Friday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. ET at Penn State's Rec Hall.

• The Flyers won the 2015 Atlantic 10 Tournament, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
• Dayton will be making its 11th appearance in the NCAA Tournament this year - 10 automatic bids from A-10 Championship titles and one at-large bid (2003, '04, '05, '07, '08, '09, '10, '11, '12, '14, and now '15).
• UD's all-time NCAA Tournament record is 6-10. The Flyer advanced to the NCAA Second Round in 2014, falling at eventual national champion Penn State.
• Dayton currently has an RPI of 25 (as of Nov. 23).
• Dayton volleyball has won 24 consecutive, tied for the nation's longest winning streak.
• The NCAA First and Second rounds are played at campus sites.
• It is a 64-team field with 16 national seeds.
• Villanova, of the Big East Conference, earned one of the 32 at-large bids. They have an RPI ranking of 43.
• Penn State, seeded seventh, will play Howard in the NCAA First Round at Rec Hall.
