DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis and head coach
Ryan Meyer have announced two new signees for the 2017-2018 season. Theo Jener and Will Harper will be joining the team next season.
Theo Jener will be joining the Flyers next year from Stockholm, Sweden. Jener was a member of the SALK boys' 15U national championship team, 18U national runner-up team, and was a regional doubles champion. He will enroll at Dayton after finishing his schooling at Enskilda Gymnasiet.
Will Harper will be moving north next year to join the Flyers. He hails from Suwanee, Georgia, and is a senior at Lambert High School. Harper was his team MVP and captain for his junior and senior seasons. He is an avid tennis fan and has even practiced with several ATP players.
"I'm very excited about the additions of Theo and Will," said head coach
Ryan Meyer. "I identified these two as young men who would be able to come in and have an immediate impact on our lineup, as well as succeed in the classroom. I'm looking forward to getting them on campus next fall."
