INDIANAPOLIS - University of Dayton volleyball picked up three wins at the Indy Collegiate Invite Saturday held at the Academy Volleyball Club. Dayton defeated Kent State, Indiana and Southern Illinois, 2-0, while recording a 1-1 tie against Ohio State.

The one-day event featured 14 teams from the region: Ball State, Dayton, Illinois State, Indiana, IUPUI, Indiana State, Kent State, Lipscomb, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Ohio State, Purdue, Southern Illinois and Xavier.

Match one: Dayton 2, Kent State 0 (25-16, 25-19)
Match two: Dayton 1, Ohio State 1 (25-14, 20-25)
Match three: Dayton 2, Indiana 0 (25-20, 25-9)
Match four: Dayton 2, Southern Illinois 0 (25-20, 25-20)

Stats of the Day
• Rising junior Jessica Sloan led all Flyers with 39 kills over four matches. She also served up eight aces and passed 13 digs.
• Rising junior Amber Erhahon was the toughest Flyer at the net, tallying 17 blocks to go with 24 kills on the day. Also with 24 kills was rising sophomore Lauren Bruns.
• The team's leading passer on the day was rising sophomore Margo Wolf with a total of 42 digs.
