DAYTON - University of Dayton volleyball head coach
Tim Horsmon has announced the addition of
Josie Vondran to the team for the upcoming 2018 season. She will join seven other newcomers to campus this fall.
Vondran, a 6-0 setter from Columbus, Ohio, played her prep career at Bishop Watterson under head coach Stephanie Grieshop.
"Josie has the makeup to be a really good setter at this level," commented Horsmon. "She is an athletic six-foot left-handed setter who understands the game and how to run an offense. We're looking forward to getting her in our program and getting to work with her. We feel like Josie will be a great fit in our program and university."
A 2017 First Team All-District honoree, Vondran posted a .328 hitting percentage, 950 assists and 179 kills over her junior and senior seasons at Bishop Watterson.
