– University of Dayton freshman high jumper Britt Reid has been named the Atlantic 10’s Rookie of the Week after her performance at the Oliver Nikoloff Invite.
The Twinsburg, Ohio native set the Atlantic 10’s highest mark of the outdoor season when she cleared 5-06.00 on Saturday at the University of Cincinnati. Reid’s jump was the winning height in a field of 13 in the high jump.
Reid’s first-place mark helped propel the Flyers to second place at the Oliver Nikoloff. Dayton trailed only to the BIG EAST’s University of Cincinnati, who was also the meet host. UD returns to action on April 8 and 9 when they travel to Oxford, Ohio for the Miami Invitational.
