Outfitted with wood trim and leather seats, the eight-passenger vehicle allows the Dayton Flyers to travel to tournaments in comfort and style.
The University of Dayton men’s golf van has a distinct Flyer feeling inside and out. The interior features the Dayton Flyers logo embroidered throughout the van, while the exterior's subtle design accentuates the van's classic lines. After a long day on the course, players can utilize the individual lockers in the back of the vehicle. Satellite television, radio and wireless Internet access are just some of the amenities available to student-athletes during long road trips.
Dayton's newest recruiting tool was purchased thanks to the generous contribution from an anonymous donor. The intention is to provide the team with a travel experience on-par with the elite golf programs in the NCAA.
"We are thankful to all of those who support our program," Flyer head coach Gip Hogland said. "This certainly puts the travel experience for our team on par with the top programs in the country, which is exactly where we believe Dayton golf belongs."
