NORMAL, Ill. – Sophomore Erin Peavy and senior Clara Ang each shot a 77 in round three of the 2011 Redbird Invitational.

Ang finished in a tie for ninth for her eighth career Top 10 finish. She finished the tournament with scores of 75, 75 and 77.

For Peavy, her third round 77 was a career best. She closed the event in a tie for 50th.

Also finishing in a tie for 50th was sophomore Maggie Prokop. After back-to-back scores of 82 on day one, Prokop fired an 81 in round three.

Senior Heather Jorgensen bounced back from a slow start closing with an 80 in round three. She placed in a tie for 66th overall.

Junior Kelly Coakley rounded out the scoring with an 80 in round three. Coakley finished tied for 72nd overall. 

As a team Dayton finished in 10th. Their third round score was a 314 and the Flyers finished the tournament with a 960 total.

Up next for UD is the Ball State Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Ind. The two-day tournament takes place from Sept. 17-18.
