COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Dayton Flyers’ Varsity 8 continues to impress.

At the tri-team meet against the Ohio State and Cincinnati club teams, Dayton’s Varsity 8 picked up another victory.

The Dayton squad (cox – Nicole Baeder, Jordan Vellky, Katherine Bruening, Sadie Wonders, Katelyn Reynolds, Martha Sitkiewicz, Ali Girten, Molly Chipman and Erin Quinn) placed in first with a time of 14:19.

Dayton’s Second Varsity 8 in the same event (Michele Baeder, Haley Murrell, McKay Rehwinkel, Sierra Schmitt, Ali Van Loon, Julie Wittman, Laura Profumo and Marissa Dunyak) came in second with a time of 15:07.

The Flyers also came in first in the Varsity 4. The UD A squad (cox- Allison Santho, Wonders, Bruening, Chipman and Reynolds) clocked in at 16:07, while the second varsity four (cox - Nicole Baeder, Michele Bader, Murrell, Velky and Girten) finished close behind at 16:37.

Meanwhile, the Flyers third Varsity 4 came in third with a time of 17:11 and the fourth Varsity Four in seventh clocking in at 18:30.

In the Novice 4, Dayton placed in first and second. The Flyers’ first Novice 4 came in with a time of 18:06, while the second Novice 4 finished at 19:21.
