DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton softball team will be holding a December pitching camp on Dec. 4 and 5 helping beginning and advanced players raise the level of their play.

In the Beginner Instruction Camp, basic pitching skills will be emphasized. This camp is for those interested in improving their fundamentals of pitching. Pitchers will engage in numerous drills to implement correct mechanics, increase accuracy and speed. This session is recommended for players who have less than three years of pitching experience.

The Advanced Workout session is recommended for pitchers who have control of their movement pitches and seek further development in transitioning to the college level. Pitchers will learn effective and efficient warm up, how to execute their pitches to college hitters, how to improve spin and pitch deception, and how to develop the endurance that is needed for college level workouts.

Spaces are still available but filling up quickly. Each camp is limited to a maximum of 20 pitchers per session and it is strongly recommended that each camper brings someone to catch.

The registration deadline is Monday, Nov. 29. For those who register before Nov. 29, there is a $5.00 discount.

All University of Dayton Camps and Clinics are open to any and all entrants – and are only limited by the number, age, grade level or gender described.
