The University of Dayton volleyball team moved to No. 16 in this week's CSTV/AVCA Top 25 Coaches Poll following three non-conference sweeps last week. Also on Monday, middle blocker Lindsay Fletemier took home her fifth Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week award.

The Flyers increased their number of votes for the third straight week including a move from 514 last week to 535 on Monday while going from No. 17 to No. 16. UD has the best record in the nation at 26-1 overall and has the best start in modern school history with 21 consecutive wins to begin the season.

UD earned a school-record 749 votes while rising to an all-time high of No. 12 in the Oct. 15 Poll. The Flyers had increased the number of votes from zero in the Preseason Poll to 749 in the eighth ranking of the year. Overall, the Flyers have been ranked for 10 consecutive weeks and have picked up votes in 11 of 12 polls this season.

Dayton has recorded 3-0 sweeps in 13 of their last 18 matches and 17 times in 27 matches overall this season including seven of 11 in conference play. UD has also rebounded from a 1-2 deficit on four occasions this season to win in five games.

Fletemier picked up her fifth A-10 weekly honor of the season after leading the Flyers to three sweeps of the competition last week. She led Dayton with 18.0 total blocks and tied for the team lead with 4.11 kps and 5.61 ppg.

Fletemier began with 13 kills while hitting .500 with three blocks in a 3-0 sweep at local rival Wright State on Wednesday. She followed with another 13 kills in a .667 hitting effort to go along with five blocks and 16.5 points as UD beat Youngstown State on Saturday. Fletemier hit .550 with 11 kills and 10 blocks for her first collegiate double-double in the win at Cleveland State on Sunday. Six of her 10 blocks against CSU were solo blocks.

The 6-5 middle blocker leads the team in blocks (1.12 bpg) while ranking second in kills (2.83 kpg), hitting percentage (.337) and points (3.53 ppg).

The Flyers return home following a stretch of six consecutive matches on the road to host their final two home matches of the regular season. On Thursday, Dayton will faceAtlantic 10 rival Xavier for first place in the A-10 West Division on Thursday. Flyer fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear red for the "Red Out" match against the Musketeers which begins at 7 p.m. ET.

UD will honor seniors Adrienne Green, Robynne Green and Jamie-Lee Richards on Senior Day when the Flyers take on Rhode Island Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
