Olsen Center

The Olsen Athletics Performance Center is a multimillion-dollar, 10,000 square foot facility that includes state-of-the-art equipment, restrooms, storage closets, a sound system, and a nutrition bar. It connects directly with the Frericks and Cronin Centers. The space allows UD student-athletes access to the best strength and conditioning development, as well as nutrition. 

According to data from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Olsen Athletics Performance Center is in the upper quartile in size of all strength and conditioning facilities nationwide. The center has nearly twice as many Olympic lifting platform areas as the national average. 

The most recent renovation of the Olsen Athletics Performance Center added amenities such as an assortment of 20 different plate loaded Hammer/Pendulum machines, 20 yards x 5 yards of turf, a touchscreen interactive record board, and 45,000+ pounds of free weights (iron plates, bumpers, and DBs).Â
