Rudy Flyer is the passionate cornerstone of Dayton Athletics. Since 1980, he has been cheering on the Flyers on the sidelines with the Flyer Faithful. Rudy is beloved by the amazing Flyer Faithful. He is, and forever will be, No. 1 in the hearts of the Flyer Faithful!

Career Notes:
  • Considered a multi-sport super fan. From cheering on every ROOF in Volleyball to the last SLAM DUNK at UD Arena.
  • Appears anywhere/everywhere in Southwest Ohio and beyond
  • Is considered one of the best stunt pilots in the entire country
  • Has bench pressed over 400 pounds and squatted over 500 pounds. Those muscles don't just appear
  • Rudy once played a prank on Chuck Norris… Chuck Norris laughed.

  • Family Members: Flyer Faithful! From the students to alums to the greater Flyer community. Everyone is his family.
