Devin Oliver tallied 16 points and nine rebounds and
Vee Sanford scored 16 off the bench to lead the Dayton Flyers to an 80-68 road win over the Fordham Rams.
Khari Price scored 15 points and
Dyshawn Pierre added 10 points and six rebounds as the Flyers bettered its record to 13-4 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic 10.
Offensive balance continues to be the theme this year as the Flyers improved to 9-0 when four or more players score in double figures.
Dayton shot the ball well connecting on 57 percent of its field goal attempts and 7-of-14 from beyond the arc.
UD was ahead 39-36 at halftime before zipping out on an 8-0 run to start the second half. The Flyers hit five of their first six second half three-point attempts and eventually built the lead to double digits.
Defensively, Dayton held Fordham's Jon Severe, the A-10 leader in scoring, to 13 points on 3-of-13 shooting from the floor. The Rams shot just 22 percent from beyond the arc.
The Flyers have now won eight straight against Fordham and 13 of the last 14 meetings. Fordham dropped to 7-9 overall and 0-3 in the A-10.
Dayton will wrap up the two-game road swing against the Richmond Spiders on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. ET.
