Game Notes In PDF FormatPUERTO RICO TIP-OFF NEXT UP FOR DAYTON AGAINST TEXAS A&M• A pair of 1-0 programs will clash as the University of Dayton Flyers face the Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday in the opening round of the 2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off at 10:30 a.m. ET.
• The game will be televised by nationally by ESPNU, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.
ABOUT TEXAS A&M• Texas A&M brings a solid core of returners from last season's 18-win club, including four starters and a total of eight letterwinners.
• The Aggies are 1-0 after disposing of Northwestern State on Friday 109-68. Jalen Jones and Antwan Space scored 16 each.
• The Aggies are led by All-SEC Second Team selection Alex Caruso. Caruso led the SEC in assists and steals last season.
SERIES STUFF• Dayton leads the all-time series 1-0. The Flyers defeated Texas A&M 81-66 at UD Arena on Dec. 21, 1999.
POWER PLAYERS• The University of Dayton loves playing against the Power Five conferences. Dayton is 25-12 in the last seven years against programs from the Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, Pac 12 and ACC.
• In fact, the Flyers have won eight of the last 10 against SEC opponents. Dayton went 6-4 last season versus BCS teams, with three of those victories in the NCAA Tournament (Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford).
BRACKET BUSTERS• The University of Dayton has won three of the six early-season basketball tournaments it has played in since 2003. The Flyers won the 2011 Old Spice Classic after defeating Wake Forest, Fairfield and Minnesota. UD also won the 2003 EA Sports Maui Invitational and the 2008 Chicago Invitational Challenge. Last season in Maui, the Flyers took third place after defeating No. 10 Gonzaga and Cal.

PUERTO RICO TIP-OFF TIDBITS• This will be the second time the Flyers will play in the Puerto-Rico Tip-Off. UD played in the event in 2009.
• The 2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off will be the seventh consecutive in-season tournament UD will have participated in.
THE 'D' BACK IN DAYTON• Dating back to last season, Dayton has not allowed an opponent to score 70 or more points in six of the last nine games. The Flyers are 12-0 the past two years when limiting opponents to less than 60 points in a game.
UP NEXT• Dayton will continue on in the bracket against either the College of Charleston or UConn on Friday, Nov. 21 in the 2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
