Facebook Photo GalleryDAYTON – The University of Dayton men's basketball team topped the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles 96-66 Saturday night at UD Arena in Dayton's lone exhibition game. Five Flyers scored in double-figures, led by
Jalen Robinson with a double-double of 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting to go along with 14 rebounds.

Dyshawn Pierre tallied 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting and added eight rebounds and five assists.
Jordan Sibert scored 17 points and hauled in four rebounds.
Kyle Davis netted 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting, hauled in five rebounds and dished out four assists.
Darrell Davis rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Flyers with 12 points to go along with three rebounds.

UD used a 21-0 first half run over the span of five minutes and 43 seconds to turn a 16-9 advantage into a 37-9 lead with 8:07 remaining until halftime. The Flyers led 57-26 at the break as Dayton shot a blistering 65.4% (17-of-26) from the field in the first half.

Overall for the game, UD shot 57.9% (33-of-57) from the floor while limiting Southern Indiana to just 32.8% (21-of-64). The Flyers held a 47-35 edge on the boards and outscored the Screaming Eagles in the paint 46-22. UD also dished out 19 assists while Southern Indiana had 10 assists.

The Flyers will be back in action on Friday Nov. 14 at 7 pm ET in the season opener vs. the Alabama A&M Bulldogs at UD Arena. The game will also be televised on WHIO Channel 7.
