Streaming Audio RIVALRY RENEWED WEDNESDAY AS DAYTON VISITS MIAMI• One of the longest rivalries in college basketball is renewed when the University of Dayton Flyers face the Miami RedHawks on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET.
• The game will be carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.
ABOUT MIAMI• The RedHawks come into Wednesday's contest looking to snap a three-game losing skid.
• Miami is led by the trio of Will Sullivan (11.0 ppg), Geovonie McKnight (10.2 ppg) and Eric Washington (10.0 ppg).
• Turnovers have been an issue for the RedHawks. Miami averages 15.0 per game.
SERIES STUFF• After a one-year hiatus, the Dayton-Miami rivalry is renewed. Dayton leads the all-time series 69-61 and have won six of the previous seven meetings.
• The last time these programs met, Dayton won 83-61 at UD Arena.
• The series with Miami dates back to 1909.
• The Flyers have met the RedHawks the second-most times in the Dayton's program's history.
GETTING DEFENSIVE• Dayton is 4-0 this season when limiting opponents to less than 60 points in a game.
• Dating back to last year, Dayton has not allowed an opponent to score 70 or more points in nine of the last 13 games.
• The Flyers lead the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense averaging a paltry 54.8 points per game.
SIBERT STARTING TO SIZZLE• In his last three games,
Jordan Sibert has played his best basketball. Sibert averaged 20.0 points and shot 18-of-36 (.500) from the field and 10-of-22 (.450) from three-point range in the previous three games.
• In the first two games of the year, Sibert averaged 9.0 points and shot 5-of-21 (.238) from the floor and 1-of-10 (.100) beyond the arc.
