WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CONTINUES ROAD SWING AT LA SALLE

Flyers' Schedule Includes Four Games In Eight Days

No. 25 Dayton women's basketball (18-5 overall, 11-1 Atlantic 10) continues its busy schedule with a road game at La Salle (12-13 overall, 7-6 A-10) this Wednesday, Feb.  19 at Tom Gola Arena at 7 p.m. ET. It's part of a stretch of four games in eight days for the Flyers. The game will be available online via free audio stream on DaytonFlyers.com on the A-10 Digital Network with Shane White on the call. 

FLYER FACTS
- Andrea Hoover moved into fifth place on UD's career three-point field goals made list. She scored a career-high 29 points as No. 25 University of Dayton women's basketball rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat Saint Louis 90-74 on Feb. 17. Hoover scored 20 of her career-high 29 points in the second half, including a four-point play with 4:24 to play in the second half that gave UD a 78-61 lead. 
- The Flyers have won their last six games and last 16 of 17.
- UD is receiving votes in the AP Top 25 poll and ranked No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
- Dayton leads the Atlantic 10 teams in scoring offense (84.6), field goal percentage (45.3), rebounding offense (44.4), blocked shots (4.7), assists (17.7), defensive rebounds (31.1) and home game attendance (1,989).
- Flyer senior Cassie Sant is second in the A-10 in FG% at 54.6.
- Junior Ally Malott is 9th in the A-10 in scoring with 14.6 ppg and fourth in rebounding with 8.2 rpg. She is one of two players in the conference to be in the Top 10 in scoring and Top 5 in rebounding. Malott has a team-high six double-doubles this season. She is fourth in the A-10 in FT% (.851) and 6th in blocked shots. She needs 150 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone and nine rebounds to reach 500 career boards.
- UD won its first Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship in 2012 and earned the 2013 A-10 Regular Season Championship.

SERIES INFO
Dayton leads the all-time series 16-15 over La Salle, and the Flyers have won the last eight meetings. UD is 6-9 when playing La Salle on its home court, but the Flyers have won the last three meetings in Philadelphia. In the last meeting, No. 17/18 University of Dayton women's basketball team defeated the La Salle Explorers Jan. 16, 2013 by a score of 95-47 at UD Arena. Four different Flyers scored in double figures as Dayton ended the game shooting 57 percent from the field. It marked the seventh game that season that Dayton scored 90 or more points. Amber Deane finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds. 

SCOUTING LA SALLE
The Explorers are 12-13 overall and 7-6 in Atlantic 10 action. They are coming off two consecutive road losses; a 76-63 setback to Saint Joseph's and a 43-42 defeat at Fordham. Alicia Cropper leads La Salle with 14.0 ppg. Micahya Owens adds 13.2 ppg. Leeza Burdgess contributes 9.0 ppg and a team-high 7.3 rpg. Jasmine Alston leads the Explorers in assists with 73. La Salle averages 57.5 ppg, second lowest in the A-10.

UP NEXT
UD returns home for a game against Saint Joseph's on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. in an ESPNU nationally-televised game with Jim Barbar (play-by-play) and Ros Gold-Onwude (analyst) will have the call. It will be a WHITE OUT and the Flyers will celebrate Cassie Sant in a Senior Day recognition following the game.
