OLEAN, N.Y. – The Dayton Flyers went on a 12-5 run in the final four minutes to rally and defeat the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on the road 72-69.

Devin Oliver scored six of his 15 points in the final three minutes of the game to give the Flyers their third victory in a row. Vee Sanford also scored 15 as Dayton improved to 16-8 overall and 4-5 in the Atlantic 10.

St. Bonaventure (13-10, 3-6 A-10) lost at home for only the second time in 11 games this season.

The big key in the game for Dayton was domination on the offensive glass. UD had 20 offensive rebounds, one of which came from Oliver after a missed three by Jordan Sibert with 12 seconds to go. Oliver got fouled on the play and hit both free throws to push the Flyer lead to three.

The Bonnies shot 50 percent but took 12 fewer shots due to being outrebounded 39-28. The teams played to a 30-all draw in the first half but Dayton needed an 8-2 run, including treys by Sanford and Khari Price, in the closing 2:58 to do so.

Oliver's jumper with 2:59 left in the game, capping another 8-2 run, tied it again at 64. His four free throws as time wound down sealed the win.

Up next for Dayton is a home contest against the Rhode Island Rams on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. ET.
